You asked

Please provide the standard mortality rates of deaths considered preventable, 2013-2017, by ward and sex for Wandsworth and Richmond?

We said

Thank you for your enquiry.

Unfortunately, we do not hold mortality rates by ward, sex and cause of death. This data would be considered disclosive due to the small numbers involved at this geography and disaggregation.

Whilst we are unable to provide all of the data requested, mortality rates at MSOA (middle layer super output area) for 2013 to 2018 are available from our explorable dataset. Please find this in the following link: https://www.nomisweb.co.uk/query/construct/summary.asp?mode=construct&version=0&dataset=161

Please note that to protect the confidentiality of individuals, small counts for areas below region level are rounded; where counts of 0, 1, and 2 are rounded to 0, while counts of 3, 4, and 5 are rounded to 5.

We may be able to provide a further geographical breakdown or cause breakdown of the data you have requested. However, this would need to be commissioned as bespoke analysis. Such services would fall outside of the Freedom of Information regime and would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreement of costs where appropriate.

If you would like to discuss your requirements further, please contact health.data@ons.gov.uk.
