How many deaths were recorded in Scotland, England, Wales & Northern Ireland from 1st Jan 2019 - 30th April 2019.

We are responsible for publishing mortality statistics for deaths registered in England and Wales, using the information supplied on the death certificate.

The recorded number of deaths for January 2019 to April 2019, for England and Wales, can be found as part of our Deaths Registered Monthly by area of usual residence series for 2019.
