Ad Hoc tables for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. These weighted tables are questions broken down by a combination of 2-digit SICs that were not published in the weighted Business Impact of COVID-19 Survey (BICS) Wave 23 results.
Information on the SICs included in the this breakdown can be found in the "Requested SICs" tab. Caution should be taken when interpreting these results as the SICs requested only represent a small number of businesses responded in each industry. The sample size for each industry can be found in the "Trading Status" tab.
The sample design for BICS was reviewed and refreshed in Wave 17 and will be the basis for future waves. This sample redesign improves our coverage for the smaller sized businesses.
The survey was sent to around 39,000 UK businesses, and results presented in this release are based on a limited number of responses, around 25.4% (10,008) of all businesses surveyed who responded.
