How do I check how many Muslim families live in the Mirfield area?

The census does not collect religion of families as a collective. It is not always the case that everyone within a family will have the same religion. However, the associated download named 'FOI-2024-1905 - Religion Household Reference Person (HRP) Mirfield ward' provides a dataset showing religion of Household Reference Person (HRP) for Mirfield ward (within Kirklees local authority).
An HRP is a person who serves as a reference point, mainly based on economic activity, to characterise a whole household.
Please also see the associated download 'FOI-2024-1905 - Religion for usual residents of Mirfield ward', which provides Census 2021 dataset showing religion for all usual residents in Mirfield.
It is important to note that the religion question was voluntary and includes people who identified with one of 8 tick-box response options, including "No religion", alongside those who chose not to answer this question.
Also, it is the religion people connect or identify with (their religious affiliation), whether or not they practise or have belief in it.
